Editor overview

After you upload a recording, click Edit to open it in the editor. You can also open any demo from Demos.

The editor needs a desktop browser. On a phone you'll see Desktop required.

Layout

Steps panel (left). All steps in order. Drag to reorder, and open a step's menu for more options. See Steps.
Canvas (center). The selected step, the way viewers will see it.
Toolbar (top). Tools for the selected step:

Tool	What it does
Pointer	How the hotspot looks. The button shows the current type, for example Ripple. See Hotspots and annotations.
Annotation	A tooltip with a title and text next to the hotspot.
Narration	Voiceover, webcam video or an uploaded clip. See Narration.
Playback	Auto-progress, looping and step animation. See Playback.
Chapters	Group steps so viewers can jump ahead. See Chapters.
Zoom	Zoom into part of the step. See Zoom.
Edit UI	Change text and images, or blur sensitive content. See Edit UI.
Theme	Colors, frame and fonts for this demo. See Theme and branding.

Overlay and CTA steps have fewer tools, because they have no hotspot. On the CTA step, Narration and Chapters are off too.

On the right side of the header you'll find AI assistant, a language switcher, Preview and Share.

Changes save automatically. The header shows Saving…, then Saved. If you see Save failed, check your connection before you keep editing.

Click Preview to see the demo as viewers will.
