Install the extension
Add Peutly Recorder to Chrome, Edge, Brave or another Chromium browser.
You record demos with Peutly Recorder, a browser extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Open Peutly Recorder in the Chrome Web Store. You'll also find the link in Peutly under Home → Install extension.
Click Add to Chrome and confirm. In other browsers, the button may show your browser's name.
Click the extensions (puzzle) icon in your browser's toolbar and pin Peutly Recorder, so it's always one click away.
Sign in to app.peutly.com in the same browser. The extension uses that session.
Once it's installed, Home shows Extension installed.
Requirements
- A Chromium-based browser on a computer. We build and test on Google Chrome. Other Chromium browsers, like Edge, Brave, Arc and Opera, use the same extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- An active trial or paid plan.
Other Chromium browsers
Install Peutly Recorder from the Chrome Web Store in any of these browsers:
- Microsoft Edge. Turn on Allow extensions from other stores when Edge asks.
- Brave and Arc. Install straight from the Chrome Web Store.
- Opera. Add Opera's Install Chrome Extensions add-on first.
Firefox and Safari aren't supported.
