Narration

Narration plays when the viewer reaches a step. Select a step and click Narration in the toolbar. Pick one of four sources.

AI voiceoverCopy Anchor Link

Type what should be said and Peutly turns it into speech.

1. Choose AI voiceover.
2. Pick a Language, or leave it on Automatic (from the text).
3. Pick a Voice.
4. Type your text, up to 4,096 characters.
5. Click Listen to your text to hear it.
6. Click Add voiceover to step, or press ⌘/Ctrl + Enter.

AI voiceover uses your workspace's monthly voiceover allowance. See AI credits and voiceover.

Record voiceoverCopy Anchor Link

Choose Record voiceover to record with your microphone. Your browser asks for microphone access the first time.

Record videoCopy Anchor Link

Choose Record video to record yourself with your camera and microphone. The video plays in a bubble on top of the step.

Upload a fileCopy Anchor Link

Choose Upload file to add an audio or video file you already have.

• Formats: MP4, MOV, WebM, MP3, WAV, AAC, M4A or OGG
• Maximum size: 100 MB

Set the Preview shape: Rectangle, Square or Circle for video, Bar or Circle for audio.
