Custom domain
Share demos from your own domain, like demos.yourcompany.com.
With a custom domain, your share links look like https://demos.yourcompany.com/abc123 instead of share.peutly.com/abc123. Use a subdomain of a domain you own.
You'll need access to your domain's DNS settings, at your domain registrar or DNS provider.
Enter your subdomain
Open a demo, click Share and go to the Share link tab. On the Custom domain card, click Set up. Enter the Domain, for example demos.yourcompany.com, and click Save domain.
Later, the same card shows Continue setup or Manage domain.
Add two DNS records
Peutly shows two records. Add both at your DNS provider:

The CNAME sends traffic to Peutly. The TXT record proves the domain is yours.
Verify
Click Verify DNS records. DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. If verifying fails, wait a bit and try again.
Wait for HTTPS
After verification, Peutly sets up a secure certificate. The status moves from DNS verified to Setting up HTTPS to Live. From then on, the share link uses your domain.
Status labels

| HTTPS setup failed | Something went wrong issuing the certificate. Check the CNAME, then retry from Manage domain. Contact us if it keeps failing. |
Use the domain for more demos
Once a domain is connected, pick it for other demos under Use an existing domain. No new DNS records are needed, and a verified domain goes live right away. A workspace can connect up to 25 domains.
Remove a domain
- From one demo. Click Unlink demo in the demo's Share link tab. The demo goes back to
share.peutly.com. - From the workspace. Admins can go to Integrations → Custom domain and click Disconnect domain.
Keep the CNAME and TXT records in place for as long as you use the domain. If you remove them, links on your domain stop working.
